About our School

French Shore Academy is a K-12 school located in scenic Port Saunders, about 250 km north on route 430 on the Northern Peninsula. This school was officially opened in 2010. It services five communities: Port Saunders, Port Au Choix, Hawkes Bay, Eddies Cove West and River of Ponds. We currently have a student population of approximately 300 students and operate under the direction of the Western School District.

FSA:  New Blog Launches

This year we will be using a resource from Google, called called Blogger, to post new information to the internet.  Blogger will be used to create school blogs to keep you informed regarding school messages, sports updates, student awards, special events and music events. Links to these important blogs can be found at the right on this page or at the top of any of our school\teacher blogs that you visit.

Our message board blog will be used to inform you about important events planned for our school and any other information we feel important for you to know about.  Whereas, our special events blog will be used to report on important events that have happened at our school.

Additionally, teachers will use thier own individual blogs to post homework and class updates.  Make sure you stay tuned to these important sites as new information will be regulary added. Links to these important blogs can be found in the navigation system to the right as well as on th right side of any of our school\teacher blogs that you vist.

When searching for homework assignments use the label feature on each teacher blog to narrow your search to a specific course.

The Archive link on each blog will display a list of messages that have been posted per month.

Use the "Increase Text Size" slider located at the right of each blog, to increae or decrease the size of text, for your reading convenience.
